Transparent Eyeball by Brilliant Ncanana

In the balcony there is an old soul sitting on a rocking chair.
Gazing at the sky as the clouds come together only
to separate letting the sun shine up its way

Through primrose tufts, in that green bower
The periwinkle trailed its wreaths
And ’tis my faith that every flower
Enjoys the air it breathes

As the sky makes a colorful entrance
Letting the rainbow blossoms across the sky
Birds chipping
Birds delight
Busy bees flying around looking for a spot to make honey

As the rainbow lights up the sky
It comes with rain drop
Tapping softly against aged windowpanes
Soothing the soul

Against the window I watch the old lady
Making her way to the front door
As she opens the door she hears the sound of boiling
water in the kitchen
She smiles as she closes the door
