January brings the snow,
Makes our feet and fingers glow.
February brings the rain,
Thaws the frozen lake again.
March brings breezes loud and shrill,
Stirs the dancing daffodil.
April brings the primrose sweet,
Scatters daisies at our feet.
May brings buzzing bumble bees,
Gathering honey for you and me.
June brings tulips, lilies, roses,
For tickling the children’s noses.
Hot July brings cooling showers,
Juicy fruits and happy flowers.
August brings warm nights of moon,
End of summer’s come too soon.
Cool September brings the turning,
Leaves are falling fires are burning.
Fresh October brings brown and red,
With sleepy animals ready for bed.
Dull November brings the blast,
Then the leaves are whirling fast.
Chill December brings ice and sleet,
Blazing fire and Christmas treat.
